An Exciting Habit to Stay Focused; My Simple Yet Impactful Method
Have you ever found yourself in a position where you truly want to do your work but something just stops you?
It’s like you want to do it, your heart craves to do the work, yet somehow you find yourself scrolling social media, watching another YouTube video on how to be productive, or perhaps, adding unnecessary tasks to your to-do so that you can avoid the ‘main’ task.
Trust me, I get it.
In situations like these, my heart wants to come out of my body and slap myself right in the face. Obviously, you start to feel angrier and irritated bit by bit until any small instance can trigger your mood.
I have been ‘living’ this situation for the past 4 months and I am tired of myself. At first, I tried to take it lightly thinking I shouldn’t be too hard on myself. I assumed if I treated it gently, I might automatically get back on track.
But duh!
The situation got a little out of my hands 2 months back when I got the idea of writing a really great book on a topic that is exciting to me. Yet, I have been ignoring the work. I wrote 10 pages. In total, 10 pages in 2 months. God, I am angry at myself.
