From The Fear of Missing Out to The Art of Missing Out
How mastering ‘The Art of Missing Out’ can improve the quality of your life and create a calm mind.
I am 1000% sure you must have heard that quote, ‘You will never have enough’ or perhaps, it was ‘What you have will never be enough.’
Two similar things but with a largely different meaning.
The first one tells you that no matter how much you work, how much you make, or how many titles you obtain, you will still not be able to have it all.
But the second one tells you — If you don’t change your perception, no matter how much you get, it will never be enough.
Okay, I get it. I am confusing you.
Let’s look at it this way:
All our lives we were told to compete, to be better, and to have more. We were trained since our childhood to value the worth of ourselves and everyone (and everything) around us based on ‘something equivalent to it.’
It must have started with ‘who scores the highest grades in class’ and continues until you are on your death bed and realize ‘the only thing that mattered in life was to LIVE LIFE as who you are and as you want.’
