Whether you believe it or not, you seek attention. Not just you, all of us love to seek attention. But we don’t love the attention.

Okay, sounds a little confusing but bear with me for a minute.

We spend the majority of our lives perfecting our personalities so that people around us like us, find us attractive, and want to spend time with us. Even if we don’t consciously choose to do it, it’s a default setting in us that we seek attention. Why?

Because no one likes to find themselves in a dark tunnel alone and invisible to all. We don’t want to believe that we were not picked by anyone. We fear the thought of being the weirdo who sits alone, eats alone, and has no friends to have fun with.

I am sure that you must have had a classmate or school/college mate who had no friends at all. No one wanted that person. No one found that person attractive or curious enough to say ‘hello’

If not in reality then we have seen those movies and read in books that the person who is all alone is either a weirdo or has a dark past. Right?
