How You Can Add More JOY into Your Daily Life

If there is one thing that I can say with most certainty, it’s ‘we are never happy with where we are. We rush to achieve an imaginary definition of a ‘perfect life’ that we think will give us joy’

And I am not saying this after reading a spiritual book. I am saying this based on my experiences that I never wanted to pay attention to.

For as long as I can remember, I had one wish — to travel across India & the world. I thought that if I could travel more, and explore more cities, I will be truly happy. I still think so.

However, last year when I went on a 4 days trip with my brother and covered 3 cities, I wasn’t happy. I was in a new city that I always wanted to explore but I was feeling lost. I was on the verge of crying. I was just waiting for that whole trip to come to an end.

I don’t like to think about that trip because firstly, traveling comes with expenses. I spent my hard-earned money on something I didn’t enjoy. And it made me feel super exhausted. It all felt like a waste of time and money.

However, money wasn’t the biggest issue. The biggest issue was, ‘why didn’t I enjoy something that I used to dream of day and night?’
