If Only I Could Learn to Live More

If you have been reading my articles for a while now, you would know that I talk a lot about intentional and slow living.

But sometimes, my friends ask me ‘why do you write about these topics? Why don’t write about trending topics that will help you make more money?’

These are the same friends who understand ‘how to make money by telling you how you to make money’ Take a second to think about it, slowly.

And lately, I have been thinking about the same as well. There are plenty of articles and blogs on Medium on ‘how to become successful, habits of successful people’ and the like. These articles are always on top of the chart. I often think to shift my focus and start writing on topics that can make me more money.

However, something stops me. Every time I decide to write a headline that claims to ‘have it all figured out,’ I feel cringe. Like a hot wave of hate touched my heart.

But when I write on topics that I am passionate about like this one, I feel relaxed like I can see the summer coming on my way to engulf me in its arms. Or in simple words, I feel excited and more alive.

If you think about it, it’s all about writing, right? It doesn’t matter what I write. What matters is that I am writing.
