Loneliness Is a Part of the Journey; How to Use Loneliness for Your Growth
I have talked about loneliness a lot in my articles. Although, initially I used to be afraid of talking about loneliness because doing so means accepting that I AM LONELY. But here we go.
When I was in college, I was never alone. I was always surrounded by my friends, and teachers or always trying new things, participating in new events/competitions, and managing cultural events in the college.
All in all, life was fun and exciting. But then we GREW. College ended, and everyone shifted to different cities for better job/career options. Some shifted back to their hometown because their work is remote like ME.
I shifted back to my hometown two years back and I don’t have any friend here who really gets me or who has a similar thought process like me. There are times when I want to go to a café with a friend and talk about that super cute guy who stared in a movie that we both loved but then my imaginary bubble bursts. There are moments when I desperately want to roam around the city with a bunch of friends and crack dirty jokes but then I remember, it’s not possible.
The funny thing is I DON’T WANT TO BE AROUND PEOPLE ALL THE TIME. I have a beautiful profession, writing, and I am absolutely focused to write more. So, I don’t think, I can chill…
