It’s not your fault. Life is moving so fast that we think if we don’t run faster then we will be left behind. So, everyone came up with the concept of achievements.
If you become successful in your 20s, you are on the right track.
If you are married by 30, you are on time.
If your kids are going to a good school and you look like their elder sibling, you are on the right track.
Life somehow became a lot about achieving success and hitting milestones at a certain age. And to keep up with it, as we didn’t have any other option, we all started running faster — even if that means leaving ourselves behind.
And when I say we left ourselves behind, I mean — we left everything that used to make us smile but had no stake in our success.
