A few months ago, I was scrolling through social media at 9:30 am in the morning and suddenly out of nowhere, I realized that I have wasted a lot of time. How much?
Ughh! Quite embarrassing to answer but it was 11 am when I realized that I was lost among Instagram reels, Twitter comments, and YouTube videos.
And do you know what’s funnier?
I was watching motivational content on all of these platforms. I mean you can check my Instagram handle, here and I bet you wouldn’t follow any celebrity or fashion influencers. (That’s why it was embarrassing for me)
The story doesn’t end here. I have read more than 100 self-help books. Obviously, almost all of them suggest ‘DON’T USE YOUR PHONE FIRST THING IN MORNING’ and ‘HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR LIFE’
Even after consuming all this inspiring, motivational and kick-ass content, where was I just after waking up?
I know, you can find yourself in my story. Probably, that’s the curse of having technology everywhere around us. We watch/read inspiring content on our laptops/phones which is the first thing that we need to get rid of (not completely though)
I knew after that sudden moment that I NEED to change and to be honest, these kinds of sudden realizations are not new. It happens all the time.
