Without trying to be all ‘Renuka’ about it and mothering you around, let me tell you one truth that you have been ignoring:

  • Everything from your computer to your fan needs a REST and a recharging source to work effectively.
  • But here we are — treating ourselves as superhumans who can do it all without rest or reset.

But I am done lecturing you to slow down and have a rest routine. Today I want to share my weekly reset routine for Mind, Body, & Soul that helps me stay productive & creative. So shall we?

1. Don’t Be On the Mercy:

Okay, here is a thing. I am not a robot whose battery will be dead on a certain day because I have a certain amount of battery that is predesigned to work for 5–6 days until I can finally take a rest on a weekend.

The problem is the people who wait for weekends to take a rest or enjoy life are the ones who spend 5 days hating their lives and complaining about every little thing. And that ends up making you a sour, and frustrated person. No wonder, you don’t like to work and creative ideas stay away from you.

The hack here is — to take a rest when you like. Don’t be at the mercy of weekends.
