If you often feel that something was taken away from you, or you blame God for not giving you what you desire or mourn over the loss of someone who you lost, this is the story for you.

I don’t write short stories usually but I read this story a year back and since then, it’s been helping me to be calm and patient. This story has helped me understand that nothing is ever lost, be it love or an object. Everything comes back to you. It’s just a matter of time. So, shall we start the story?

A Short Story of Nothing Is Ever Lost:

There was a man named Franz Kafka. He was almost 40 but he didn’t have any children of his own nor did he ever married. One fine day, Kafka was walking through the park in Berlin when he met a little girl who was crying.

Kafka went to the girl and asked, ‘Why are you crying, little girl?’

And the girl said ‘I lost my favorite doll.’

Kafka tried his best to calm the girl. He didn’t know how to for he never had children of his own so he was less experienced in this matter. But finally, he hit the nail and said, ‘Don’t worry, I will help you find your doll and I promise we shall find her.’
