I started my reading journey with ‘You were my crush till you said you love me’ by Durjoy Dutta. I guess half of Indian students start with Durjoy Dutta. Well, I picked his book not only because he is famous and the book is a bestseller but because I wanted to read something romantic.

I was a first year college student and all these romantic talks were making their place in my ears and then in my head. Although, I never had a boyfriend yet I thoroughly enjoyed watching romantic movies and series.

Ohh I know, you can relate with me. You are single but romantic, a deadly combination, isn’t it?

Okay, so where was I?

Yeah, I started with Durjoy Dutta’s novel and it took me more than 6 months to complete that one book. And after 6 months, I was sure that books and reading are the two most boring things on this planet.

Little did I know that I would end up loving books until I read my first non-fiction book, The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari. Since, then there isn’t a day when I didn’t read or looked at my books and whispered in silence “I love books”

Although, I love books now and have read more than 100 books in the past 2 years, yet I wouldn’t be on this stage if I had continued…
