When was the last time you tried something new?

Or when was the last time you were smiling ear to ear for no reason?

As a kid, I was always trying something new without giving a second thought about ‘If I will be good at it or not.’ And now, it’s all about ‘What if I suck at it?’

And it’s not limited to me, is it? As a child, if I felt curious about something, I would instantly jump on it like a kangaroo. And now I have to overthink about trying new things for at least 2–3 days just to figure out, if I have enough time or not or what if I fail or what would people say or what if I cannot learn it or what if it affects my work and more questions like this?

It’s almost like I plan to make a robot, so I have to figure it out in advance.

How depressing it is, isn’t it?

The question is why do we not allow ourselves to have hobbies outside of our work and hustle culture? Why cannot we enjoy a few things irrespective of the time it takes? Why cannot we let ourselves have some hobbies even if that cannot make us money?

Reflect Back in Time:

When I was a kid, I was good at dancing and drawing. But I was really bad at my studies. I used to try but somehow all those black words wouldn’t…
