Why I Don’t Trust Social Media Influencers (Even When I am One) & Why You Should Be More Mindful

There are some tags that you get by default like your last name, your religion, and a lot more like that. One of the tags that define me is INFLUENCER and honestly speaking, that’s the last thing I want to be tagged and remembered as.

Now, you must be thinking WHY?

I have more than 50,000 followers on Instagram and I bet people out there are going crazy to have that number. Truth be told, I am more than grateful for the people who follow me on Instagram and Medium because you made me believe that I exist and my opinions matter.

However, I personally don’t appreciate how this whole social media influencer thing is spreading around in the world.

The question again is WHY?

Well, I believe that more than half of the social media influencers are scammers. Yes, you heard that right.

Now, I am not going to point a finger at anyone specifically but there are a few things that I noticed in the past few months that are blowing my mind away and I want you to be aware of how you use social media.
